There is Power in Your Words

Now that we are coming to the close of the Power of Prayer 2012, I am looking forward to what God has in store for me in 2013. Over the year on every 12th of the month, we have set aside 1hour of prayer and I can truly say that God has blessed us by our obedience. When I think of the Goodness of Jesus and All He has done for me , my soul cries out hallelujah, I thank God for saving me.

Proverbs 18:21
Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.
We know that words are very powerful. Words can be spoken by our mouths, written on paper, or interpreted by our hands. Words can either encourage you , or discourage you. Words can either curse you or bless you.

John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Genesis 1:3
And God said;Let there be light: and there was light.
So when God speaks, What ever he says has to come to pass. When we allow the Words of God to speak in our lives things have to change.

Numbers 23:19
God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

So when we pray, and believe, and allow the spirit of God to intercede and pray for us, we allow God to pray for what we really need.
Romans 8:26
Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered
 Romans 8:27And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

I want to thank all that are participating in the Power of Prayer and believe that through prayer that
^"24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."

God is everything we need Him to be. You need finances, he is our Jehovah -Jireh, You need Healing He is our Jehovah- Rapha, You need protection He is our Jehovah- Saboath, you need Him to be with you at all times, no matter where you are? He is our Jehovah- Shammah. Oh and we can't forget when we need peace in our lives He is our Jehovah- Shalom, when we need a banner of Love and Protection He is our Jehovah-Nissi. God is everything we need Him to be, and He made it real simple for us now, because He provided us a Name that is above every name that we can call on, and that name is JESUS!!! So when you can't remember which title to call out, just call on the name of Jesus!! There is POWER in the name of JESUS!!

So in my closing I will leave you with this.
 Philippians 2 6:11
⁶ Who (Jesus), being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
⁷ But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
⁸ And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

¹⁰ That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

If you don't know Him, you still have time. There is a church home that is for you, that will teach you the Truth about The True and Living God. I have left you some important information on how humble our Great God is, how he carried himself during his ministry. When you are really looking for Jesus, he will feel you!!

12-12-12 How To Pray

12-12-12 The Power Of Prayer

James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

 For the past 11 months the Lord laid on my heart to pray on every 12th of each month for hour. And now is the last month of the year and I would like to invite you to pray with me on 12-12-12. 

We know that the Power or Prayer still works, we know that Gods hand moves by the Power of Prayer, and we know that the Church of the Living God, our Families, Saved and Unsaved need the Power of God in their lives. We know that Prayer causes the enemy to flee, we know that with out prayer there is no communication with God. We know with out prayer our lives are in shambles, so please pray with me, and be apart of this great unity, as we come together and pray.

p.s Feel free to invite others to pray with you, I want as many as we can to spread prayer, spread the good news of the lord, on 12-12-12.

Dear God,

I pray today that you open up our ears to hear what you are saying to your children. Help us to stay focused no matter what may be going on in our lives. Help us to stay spiritually fit for your kingdom and the task you have set before us, and help us to praise you while we wait. In Jesus Holy name, Amen.

It's Time To Be Free

2 Corinthians 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

STRETCH FORTH YOUR HAND

When I think back to being a child and all of the times I needed a helping hand someone was there to help me.

When I jumped off my cousins bike before it stopped and my foot got caught in between the spokes and my foot went all the way around, my parents and grandmother came to my rescue, picked me up, took me in the house, cleaned off my foot and applied ointment to my open flesh. I remember screaming in so much pain, I remember the fear on their faces when they looked at my ankle, wondering if I had broke anything.  I still have a scar to this day, but I am healed, what should of been a broke or malled up foot, is perfect and you would never know anything happened to it unless I showed you.

And that is exactly how the Lord is with us. When you are going through a rough time in your life, and you need some one to run to your aid, rescue you, pick you up and clean you off, apply ointment to your wounds... Call on Jesus, stretch forth your hand, and he will rescue you.

My Prayer: Dear Lord,

Most Gracious Father we thank you for being our salvation, our refuge, our shelter, and our redeemer, Lord I ask that as we stretch forth our hand to you in the time of need, that you will comfort and protect us like only you know how. Lord I ask that you be a fence around us, let your angels encamp around and about us, and Lord by your divine will and purpose for our lives, help us to understand that what ever hardships we face, it is for our good, and you will make away for our escape because you love us just that much.

In Jesus name we pray,

Amen

Infected Wound

Have you ever had a sore that was infected?

Well I know as a kid I have had lots of sores, either playing to rough , falling on the ground, or just by accident. I would love to pick at my sores when they would start to scab, not knowing that the scab as ugly as it was, was the healing process, and the more I picked at it the longer it took to heal. If I continued to pick at it or keep it covered with a dirty band-aid my sore would get infected.

Do you have any wounds in your life that you keep covering up or picking at? Inorder for that sore to heal properly it needs to be exposed because it needs air. Oxygen = Life!

Stop covering and picking at your wound and let God who is Life,  heal your wound.

My Prayer:
Father God,

 In the Precious Name of Jesus, send out your Healing Virtue to all of us that have wounds and some of us have covered and picked at it so long, it is now infected. Lord only you know when it happened, and only you know how to heal it! Do it Lord, by thy living word. We thank you for it right now in your Powerful Name, in Jesus Name I pray, Amen!

Mending the Broken Heart

Greetings,

For the past month I have been thinking about what to write and all I keep hearing is, write to  " The Broken Hearted". So for the next month I will be posting prayers and devotions for just that. I know that my heart has been broken many of times. Broken by my parents, siblings, friends, ex-boyfriends, and relatives and when I was younger I would hold grudges like I would hold my favorite bag.. lololol

Nevertheless,

There comes a time in our lives when we have to learn to let go and let God bind and heal our wounds so we can be set free..

AS WE KNOW SOME MARRIAGES HAVE AND WILL COME TO A END FOR WHATEVER THE CAUSE, BUT I KNOW OF A RELATIONSHIP THAT WILL NEVER GROW OLD, AND THIS IS THE RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST THE LORD. WHEN YOU MAKE THAT DECISION TO STEP OUT ON FAITH WITH JESUS, HE WILL SHOW AND GIVE YOU A LIFE THAT NO ONE CAN EVER GIVE.

 THROUGH THE GOOD AND THE BAD HE IS ALWAYS THERE FOR YOU, TO SUPPLY ALL OF YOUR NEEDS. JESUS DOES NOT AND WILL NOT RETURN OR EXCHANGE YOU, HE HAS DESIGNED YOU FOR PURPOSE. HE SAID IN HIS WORD THAT YOU ARE FEARFULLY AND WONDERFULLY MADE. HE MADE US IN HIS IMAGE, AND I AM SO GLAD ABOUT IT.

SO PLEASE DON'T SAY TO YOURSELF, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME, WHY CAN'T I FIND REAL LOVE.

 JESUS IS REAL LOVE, AND HE LOVES YOU UNCONDITIONALLY AND HE'S NOT MAD ABOUT IT!!

Praise Break!!!

It's been awhile since I wrote on my blog.. I must say my summer is going well. I surprised my little sister and went back home for a week to watch her graduate from college. I was able to see some family and friends, and that is always a delight. Now back home working my summer job ( thank you Jesus) and enjoying my husband, our child left us for the summer =( but we will make it!!!

I will say this, everyday with Jesus is sweeter then the day before.. I would like for you to think about all of the great things God has allowed in your life, just these past 6 months.. Some may say, what great things, I have been going thru, but you know what? If he brought you to it, he will get you through it.

 Praise is ammunition against the enemy... The more you praise God, the more power you have to keep the enemy under your feet..

WHAT GOD HAS FOR YOU.......

The other day I was talking to a dear friend of mine and she was so happy to tell me that she has been promoted. She has worked very hard at being great at what she does no matter what she goes through in her personal life. Over the past 7months life had been challenging for her. She lost her mother and her grandmother, she has 3 children she raises on her own, and she is going to school to become a social worker. As we talked and I congratulated her about her promotion, the conversation shifted, we talked about the people that may not support her, the people that may think they should have been promoted.


Nevertheless, I thought about the danger of wanting what others have out of jealousy. I thought about how jealousy causes you to walk by people that you know God has blessed and you can't be happy for them because it's not you. I thought about the deception of what we feel, because what we feel is not always real..


And lastly, a few words that rung through my soul, "Can you keep what you Want"?


We want cars, homes, clothes, education, marriage, but how often do we think about if we are able to keep it. How often do we say to ourselves, " that just isn't for me"?


Romans 12:15
 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep


There is no need to hate on someone else for what they have, because what God has for you is for you..!!


Prayer for this week..


Lord I thank you and adore you, Lord you are so giving and selfless, help us Oh God to see past our feelings, help us Oh Lord not to covet and harbor hatred feelings towards our brothers and sisters because of what they have. Help us Lord to trust in you and bless those that you have blessed, and pray for ourselves while we wait for our change to come.

I have sited 5 different translations of 2 Corinthians 3:17, and some will say that using other translations can make things complicated. Well, If you look at these 5, I would say that they are all saying the same thing, they are saying that if you are in  God who is a Spirit, and where ever God's Spirit dwells, there will be  freedom. 

Meaning when you become a child of God you are now free from sin because there is no sin in God. So do not let the adversary trick you into beating yourself up, when you're weak God will make you strong, get up clean yourself off ( repent) and keep being pressing toward your freedom.

Salvation is still here, repent and recieve the water baptism in Jesus Name for the remission of your sin, and you shall recieve the gift of the  Holy Ghost by the evidence in speaking in an unknown tongue as the Spirit of God gives the utterance.. !!  Act. 2:38

It's Freedom Time

Don't Give Up On God, Because He Won't Give Up On You

How many times have you felt like giving up?

 How many times have you said to yourself, " I just can't take this anymore?

I have news for you, you are not alone.

Life has a strange way of not telling you what you may endure the next day, next week, or next year.

Just to encourage you today and hopefully for the rest of your life, if you hold on to God's unchanging hand He can turn your situation around.

There is nothing to hard for God, when we say it's impossible, God says "It's never impossible if you trust me.

God is looking to heal the broken hearted, those that are wounded, blind and lame because life has taken your sight to believe and your strength to get up and walk again.

Deliverance is here!!! It's a New day, See again, and Walk In It!!

Accept Jesus the Christ today, let him show you the way..

Prayer for today: Jesus we thank you for your love and your grace, for your everlasting mercy, for your sweet spirit that is still yet here for us to grab on to. Save us from ourselves, and the issues we can't seem to shack. Lord I ask you to show us that there is nothing to hard for you, and if we believe, that you can change our situation. Lord draw someone to you today, lead them to your temple, so they can become free in you lord, set them free from the bondage of sin.

Lord I thank you in advance for the things you have planned for your children, we love you and worship you forever more, in Jesus Name Amen!!

I've Got A Testimony

Greetings and Bless the Lord,

I can truly say that I am blessed I have a testimony.. I just want to thank God for considering me and choosing me be His child. Before the year began I was in prayer for 2012 and I was inspired by God to have a hour of power prayer every 12th of the month. Every month has been a different topic, and it never ceases to amaze me how the Spirit of God takes over every time.

2012 has been the season of transition, deliverance and healing....!! There has been many testimonies on how God has done yet another Miracle!!!

I encourage you that may read this to believe what God has spoke into your life, do not abort God's purpose for your life. Yes, the road may get bumpy, and the rain may fall, but the road will get smoother and the sun will shine again.

Be encouraged, and know that God's word will never return unto Him Void!!!

Just keep Believing!!

DONT LET THE DOOR OF THE ARK CLOSE IN YOUR FACE

When I think about the testimony of Noah, I think about his faith, patience, endurance,steadfastness and obedience.

In Genesis Ch 6 we read that the creation of man had gone wicked, and it repenteth God that he made them.

But Noah found "grace" in the eyes of the lord. Doesn't it feel good to know that no matter how much hell is going on around you, when you live for Christ, you are in his favor!!

 Noah was given precise direction from God on how to build theArk.  Noah was building, and preaching to the people that the rain was coming, But it had never rained, they did not know what rain was.The people thought Noah was crazy, why would they believe a word of what he was saying, they couldn't recollect or even understand because they were blinded by wickedness, and couldn't see that God had sent a messenger to save their lives.

Isn't that like God, even though we deserve death, he sends life to give us a chance to repent and turn from our wicked ways!! Glory to God!!!

I thank God for Noah's testimony, Noah worked on the ark for 100+ years and still believed the Word of God.. Sometimes when God speaks a word into our lives and we don't see the manifestation immediately we allow doubt to come in and rob us of our blessings.

If you feel like this, just remember that if God said it, it will come to pass. Hold on to God's unchanging hand.

God Loves us so much he will give you time to come back, but the decision is yours.God will not force you, God is not controlling, God is looking for those that are willing to serve Him.

Isn't it amazing how after all that time only 8people made it in? Why when we see a church with 8 members we say God isn't there?? ( another dialogue for another day)

 I wonder if  Noah preached to the people one last time, while the animals were boarding the ark, and his family with Him, and then  God seals the door shut.! When God closes a door no man can open it!!
 Do not let the Ark door of salvation close on your life. Get in the Ark while you still have a chance.

My Prayer:
Dear Lord, I thank you for your kindness and your patience with us, Oh God as we go through out our days, thinking that we still have time left, help us God to remember that our days are numbered and we never know the day or the hour of your return or the moment our lives will end. Lord, you said in your Word that we are drawn in by your Spirit dear Lord, draw us in Oh God, save us while we yet still have a chance.. In Jesus name I pray for us all in need of your Ark,  amen!!

Forgiveness

Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

 When you have been hurt you often feel like hurting back. Whether it be a friend that hurt you or a marriage gone sour, or that relative that you just don't mesh with, our human nature says strike back, and sometimes we have.

The word of God tells us something totally different, God tells us to forgive. If we look at Matthew 6:12 the first part of forgiveness deals with yourself, not the person that hurt you, before you go to God about someone else it is imperative that you make sure your slate is clean first.

Galatians 6:1-2 Brothers, if anyone is caught in any transgression, you who are spiritual should restore him in a spirit of gentleness. Keep watch on yourself, lest you too be tempted. (attitude: approach gently and stand ready to restore the relationship)

I had to stop and think to myself, why when my feelings are hurt I want God to heal my feelings but kill the person that hurt me?? Wrong thought pattern, because in order for me to be healed I have to first ask for forgiveness and next,  forgive .

Why is it so easy to pass judgment on the next person when they're caught in their fault, but when I fall I have a legitimate reason for falling? The answer is, because no one likes being wrong, no one likes admitting they have transgressed, but God tells us to be careful when we talk about our brothers and sisters and kick them down instead of lifting them up, because you may be tempted next!

Matt 18:3-5 And he said: “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter

the kingdom of heaven. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. “And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.

Sometimes I get my best lessons from watching children. When children play, they often fight, cry and stop being friends for a totally of 2-5 minutes, but what do they do next, they forgive each other and start playing again.

Hebrews 12:1 let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us,

Have you ever held lots of grocery bags in your arms so you wouldn't have to go back?? That weight you're carrying is how it feels when you are holding on to unforgiveness. It's time to LET IT GO!!

The prayer for today :
God we come before you  bowed at your feet, asking for forgiveness of our debts to you Oh God, Lord open up our heart and our minds and free our souls from unforgiveness, Lord give us hearts like yours, hearts that forgive our enemies for they know not what they do, hearts that will feed our enemies, cloth our enemies, give them drink when they are thirsty, Oh God we pray for the spirit of forgiveness to take control in our lives, homes. jobs, relationships, and our churches. We thank you for it and claim it done in Jesus Name, Amen!

The Prayer of Jabez 1 Chronicles 4:9-10

And Jabez was more honourable than his brethren: and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, Because I bare him with sorrow.
 ¹⁰And Jabez called on the God of Israel, saying, Oh that thou wouldest bless me indeed, and enlarge my coast, and that thine hand might be with me, and that thou wouldest keep me from evil, that it may not grieve me! And God granted him that which he requested.

I myself, know that Prayer is our open communication to our Heavenly Father, and I also know that God hears our prayers and he will answer them in his timing.

I remember as a little girl, my mother would have prayer meetings every Monday, the saints would come by and pray for my mother , and I would go to the other room while they prayed. I was not saved at the time, but I would pray to God about my mothers illness and ask God to heal her and take care of her. So one Monday after prayer, I came into the living room where they were and one of the saints stopped me and told me that God heard my prayers, of course I looked at her funny, but she began to tell me what I said and all I could do is say " yes I said that". and my mother was so shocked by my request, and she said to me, " that's what you said", and I said, " Yes".

We may not know much about Jabez or his mother, but we do know that God heard his prayer, and he
answered it.

We may not know why his mother had him in sorrow and named him Jabez but we do know that he was more honorable then his brethren and when he prayed to God, God gave him what he asked..

Out of all the names we see in that Chapter, Jabez the one born in sorrow was the only one that prayed.

I may not know why my mother had to suffer for 16 years with a muscle disease, but I do know that God heard my prayers....


Prayer changes things, you do not have to live in sorrow anymore... Give your life to God, and let him change your sorrow into Joy!!

Live in Victory!!

Search Me, Search Me Lord

Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:
Psalm 139:23


So I walked into church this past Sunday morning, I was running late so I didn't go to my usual Sunday School Class, I slipped into the beginners class. The class was being taught on how to pray, and when to pray, and when you pray to be specific in your prayer. The teacher began to tell us that when they pray, their prayer is about asking God to show them who they really are, show me oh lord what I need to work on in myself. You know sometimes we can get so caught up with the things that are going on around us, and praying for subjection of flesh in somebody else  and forget that it is me oh lord standing in the need of prayer!


The teacher said that when you ask God to search you,  be ready to accept what God tells you about yourself! So God told the teacher that they were selfish, and of course they didn't believe it. So here comes the test!! God sent their godchild  for the weekend and the godchild  stole  all of the attention.


When it was time for the godchild to go back home they started to cry and say, " I don't want to go",  but  the teacher said in their head , " you ain't staying another night here, you have to go". Immediately, God spoke and said, " I told you that you are selfish, you are upset at your godchild and don't want to share your attention, you would rather they leave so you can get it all, while the child's poor little eye's are pouring out." Instantly, the teacher said they had to ask for forgiveness, because they really didn't believe it!


God has away of letting us know where we stand, and what we need to work on to be righteous and holy. So the next time we're praying for guidance let us remember to accept what's in  us, so God can deliver us for His Glory.

When I think about how I grew up in a environment were praise did not come from my parents mouth. I was told that I was ugly, fat, and even laughed at when I told my mother that my boyfriend had a child on the way. I went through most of my pre/teen years hating how I looked, my hair was bad, broke off, and to top it all off I had Eczema on my face and my neck. So I was teased almost everyday, and I tried my best to hide it, but it didn't work.

When I think of my younger years I think of the testimony of Leah. Leah was the older sister of Rachel, and Leah was considered " tender eyed". Leah wasn't chosen by Jacob, she was given to him, hidden and covered, (I wonder how that made her feel). Leah knew she wasn't loved, and because of that God opened her womb and she began to give her husband son's. Even though she was having babies with him she still wasn't happy. If you pay attention to the names of her sons, you will notice that something changes around number 4 (Judah), her request changed. Leah was no longer seeking the love and approval of her husband, she was seeking the love and approval of God. Leah began to praise God for who he was in her life.  Gen.29:31-35

So if  anyone is out there looking for love and approval like Leah and I were, I know a Man named Jesus that Loves you just as you are, because you are fearfully and wonderfully made. God has designed us all different and unique in our own way. So praise your way through the hurt you may endure when you are feeling unloved and not beautiful to others. People can not create what real beauty is, real beauty is created by God.

Palm Sunday

Matthew 21:9

  And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, ^aHosanna to the Son of David: ^bBlessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

Today we recognize and celebrate the day Jesus rode on  a donkey into Jerusalem, not on a Bentley, Mercedes, Cadillac, but a Donkey, what a  humble God we serve.

As we reflect on this event, and the Life of Jesus before Calvary and the resurrection, let us remember that He was not a man that came into the world to gain material things, fame or fortune, he didn't come here bragging about who he was and what power he had. He came here to Save souls. Our Souls!!


Let us remember today, and this week, that after this beautiful testimony of Palm Sunday, not even a week later was beat, spat on, ridiculed, shamed, blamed, lied on, and died on a rugged, bloody, painful cross that he had to carry to Calvary, and He did it for me and you..

John 6:47

47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

5 When they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.

John 3:16

For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life.

Greetings to all! Today as I was walking by a classroom I heard a teacher use the word " LOVE". She was explaining how someone used love to get something from someone, and just as quick as I heard her say it, a thought came to my mind, " How many times have you used love to get what you wanted"?   Then another question came, " How many times has loved wanted to use you"?

When I think of John 3:16 and how powerful love is explained. I seen that real love is about sacrifice and giving. Real Love isn't selfish, it's always giving of yourself, or somethings that belong to you. Whether it be your time, money, talents, gifts, and purpose.

Today I stop and ask myself, " Am I just using love to get what I want, or am I allowing love to use me ? "

Today I pray that I and all believers take time out to evaluate our Love Meter, what more can we do for others and for the Kingdom of God!!

Are you using Love, or allowing Love to use you?

PRAISE THE LORD!!

TODAY IS TESTIMONY DAY. WE HAVE SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR WHEN WE THANK OF THE GOODNESS OF JESUS AND ALL HE'S DONE FOR US...LET'S NOT LET THE ENEMY CLOUD OUR MINDS, LET US THINK ON THE GOOD THINGS!! AMEN

SO LET'S MAKE THE ENEMY MAD TODAY, WHAT IS YOUR TESTIMONY!!?

THE BLOOD STILL WORKS... WHEN EVER IN DOUBT, JUST CALL ON THE BLOOD AND THE NAME OF JESUS!!! AND IF YOUR NOT BLOOD BOUGHT, YOU STILL HAVE TIME TO BE REDEEMED!! DON'T MISS OUT ON THIS PURCHASE, BECAUSE IT WILL COST YOU YOUR LIFE!! FOREVER.... GET RIGHT AND GET SAVED!!

 

Children of God!! I am so happy to hear the testimonies of so many coming back to God, let's keep praying for our unsaved loved ones and the unsaved period.

 Us that are already in the body need much prayer as well. The enemy is really upset and is using very cunning tactics to try and deceive God's elect.
 Let us stay focused, prayed up and fasted up, because the war is on!!!

4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
5Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;


Let us remember to Testify of God's Greatness, for we overcome by the words of our Testimony!!

As we pray today, and throughout our journey with God, let us remember to always have a sensitive ear to the instructions God has given us.

We are living in a day where everyone has a "Voice", everyone wants to be "Equal", have equal  "Rights". I capitalized certain words because these words hold " POWER". But what good is your power when it's not lined up according to God's Plan?

Are we listening to what God is saying to us?? Or are we listening to what sounds good and pleases or flesh??

Do you ever feel a prick in your heart when the Word of God is being taught or preached ??

And if so, do you take that as a correction that God is trying to work into your life??

When someone really loves you, and sees that you have issues in your life, they will find the time to sit down with you and talk to you, pray with you, and ask you is there anything they can do to help you.

So why do we think God would be any different, as a matter of fact he Loves us Unconditionally, so best believe that sometimes in our lives we need to accept the things that are taught and preached to our souls that do not please the flesh, and truth be told, that is exactly what we really need, if we plan on making it to Heaven..

Time is whining up, let us not turn a deaf ear to what God is saying to our souls, your life is to valuable.

Question of the day!!

 

So My Pastor said something that was so profound yesterday in service.

His topic was about the presence of God, and His Glory!!

Often times we come across many that take the gift of God and use it incorrectly, and ofcourse we know that, but what really blew my mind is when he said, he was told a R&B singer did a concert and the last song they sang was a gospel song, and the ppl whr blown away.. the ppl were affected by the voice, and the real scary part is, the voice probably is anointed by God, but is not used to Glorify Him.

So my question is, how do you separate an Affect V's an Effect??

Hour of Power Prayer 3/12/2012

Greetings to all,

This Monday will be the hour of power prayer, and the subject will be Restoration!!
If you can not make the conference call, please find some time through out the day to take a moment to pray, there has been a great falling away, and we can watch the news, see what is happening in our communities and in our own homes, that there is a great need of prayer to restore what has been broken.

A small word on Esther and a Prayer!!

Esther and Mordecia had a plan

Esther ch 4

When Esther got word that her adopted father was wearing sackcloth and ashes, and crying out to  Lord in the city and at the kings gate, about the bad news he heard was coming to him and his people Mordecia and Esther had a plan. After Mordecia asked the assistant to go back and tell Esther that maybe she was put in her position for such a time as this!!

Queen Esther at the time was not supposed to see her husband for 30 days, and if she went in before that time she could be killed, unless he accepted her by his sceptre. Which we find out that when she came unto him in her queen apparel, and bowed before him she was accepted.

 Have you ever been faced with such a challenging decision in your life where you feel like it may cost you your life?

Esther shows us that she was willing to lay down her life to save not only her adopted father, but a entire nation. What or Who are you willing to lay your life down for? Your Child, Your Marriage, Your Family? What kind of courage is this?

Through prayer and fasting, Esther was willing to sacrifice her life, does this sound familiar?
Who else does this sound like? Our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who was sinless and laid down his life for us that were sinners, lost, on are way to hell...!

Through Queen Esther's testimony, she shows us that no matter what you may go thru in life, no matter what you may lose, you still have the right to become something great, when you allow God to come into your life, and you follow his directions.Esther did not allow her parents death keep her from being something great, she didn't allow being an orphan stop her from obeying her cousin's direction, she didn't let the other women intimidate her from preparing herself to become the Queen of Persia, she still had love and confidence in God!! Who is your confidence in??

From Orphan to Queen

Who would have known that someone that was so unfortunate would become a queen one day?
Do you ever stop and look at people that are less fortunate then you, may one day be someone that will become a great leader one day? That they may become your boss, or maybe a leader in your community that is now advocating for better laws? Or maybe that child that came to your church that needed so much help, that was so unfortunate, grows up to be one of the best Sunday School teachers, ministers, or Pastors because God had a purpose for their lives.

When I study the testimony of Esther, I think of so many people that have been through many painful situations in their lives, but because God had a plan and purpose for them, that pain becomes their power of praise. Think about a time in your life, when you felt unfortunate, and how God turned your pain into praise!
